Rashtriya Indian Military College Admission 2021 Details

RIMC Entrance Examination for admission to Class VIII

Education Qualification: The candidate should either be studying in class VII or passed Class VII from any recognized school at the time of admission to the RIMC.

Age Limit: Entry age of candidates appearing for the test should not be less than 11 years of age but should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 1st July 2022, i.e., they should have been born not earlier than 2nd July 2009 and not later than 1st January 2011.

Only Male Candidates can apply.

Viva-Voce: Interview will be held for only those candidates who quality in the written examination

Medical Examination: The candidates finally selected after the Viva-Voce will undergo a medical examination at selected Military Hospitals and only those candidates found medically fit will be considered for selection and admission to the RIMC.

Future Scope: After completing the course almost 80% of Cadet are selected for National Defence Academy  (NDA) or other organization related to Defence.

Examination Centre: Guwahati. It will be mentioned in the Admit Card.

Scholarships: The Govt. of Assam provides scholarships to the meritorious domicile students studying in RIMC Dehradun @ Rs. 50,000.00 p.a. as per the norms.

Application Form and question papers booklet of previous years may be obtained by making online payments on the RIMC website : www.rimc.gov.in.

Documents to be submitted:

1. Original filled-up form (2 copies).

2. Birth Certificate (2 copies).

3. Domicile Certificate (2 copies).

4. Certificate of the school authority where studying now.

5. Aadhaar Card (2 copies).

 6. Passport photo (5 copies - 2 for Forms, 1 for School Certificate, 2 additional).

 7. Postal Envelop with filled-up communication address and postal stamp of Rs. 42/-.
